Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with wonderfully old-fashioned Islay peat, combining gentle medicinal smoke with ripe red fruits and a rich coastal character. Layers of beach bonfire smoke intertwine with subtle tropical notes, creating remarkable depth and maturity. On the palate, dense earthy smoke gives way to dried mango, mint leaves and hints of papaya, while an oily texture beautifully coats the mouth. Classic medicinal and bandage-like Islay notes are balanced by a rich underlying sweetness that adds elegance and complexity. The finish is long and structured, with warming spice, toasted oak and lingering medicinal smoke carried by a soft caramel sweetness that continues to evolve long after each sip.
