Matured for 12 years in a 1st Fill Oloroso Butt, this single cask release captures the robust, oily and characterful spirit style that has made Ben Nevis one of the most sought-after distilleries among whisky enthusiasts and independent bottlers alike. With only 88 bottles produced exclusively for the Australian market, this is an exceptionally limited release.

The “Mammals of Australia” label series by Archives combines collectible artwork with carefully selected single cask whiskies chosen specifically for the Australian market. Archives has developed a strong reputation among collectors for bottling distinctive casks that highlight the individuality and authenticity of each distillery, often with natural presentation and cask strength character.
Tasting Notes:
Rich and oily with layers of vanilla, biscuit malt and dense Oloroso influence. Notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried fruits are balanced by earthy Highland character, gentle spice and a thick, waxy texture. The palate develops with caramelised sweetness, old oak and subtle citrus brightness before leading into a long and warming finish filled with malt richness, lingering sherry spice and elegant depth.
