The Club Qing 10th Anniversary 2004 Laphroaig 21 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a rare commemorative Islay release created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Club Qing Whisky Bar. Distilled at the legendary Laphroaig Distillery in 2004 and matured for 21 years, this exceptional single cask bottling captures the unmistakable maritime peat character that has made Laphroaig one of the world’s most iconic Islay distilleries. Bottled in 2025 from a single Oloroso hogshead, only 216 bottles were produced worldwide.

Presented under the striking “Calligraphy Label – 喜” design, this release forms part of Club Qing’s anniversary collection, combining traditional Chinese artistic influence with rare single cask Scotch whisky. Club Qing has become highly regarded amongst collectors for selecting distinctive casks that celebrate both whisky craftsmanship and contemporary Asian whisky culture.
Tasting Notes:
Classic coastal peat smoke intertwines with rich Oloroso sherry influence, delivering layers of smoked citrus, iodine, toasted nuts and dark fruit. Notes of medicinal herbs, sea salt, cocoa and charred oak develop alongside oily malt richness and subtle sweetness. The finish is long and warming, carrying lingering peat embers, maritime salinity and elegant sherried spice that beautifully showcase the depth and maturity of aged Laphroaig.
