The GlenAllachie Distillery was established in 1967 in the heart of Speyside and has gained a cult following since being acquired by Billy Walker in 2017. Under Walker’s direction, the distillery has become renowned for producing richly flavoured, heavily sherried whiskies with a strong emphasis on wood management and small-batch craftsmanship. The 10 Year Old Cask Strength series has become one of GlenAllachie’s most celebrated releases, with previous batches receiving international acclaim including “World’s Best Single Malt” at the World Whiskies Awards.

Tasting Notes:
Waves of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg lead on the nose, followed by orange peel, mocha and treacle sweetness. The palate delivers rich dark chocolate, figs, raisins and plums balanced by warming spice, coffee, oak influence and hints of citrus zest. The finish is long, warming and full-bodied with lingering chocolate, dried fruit and sweet spice notes.
