Matured in a carefully selected combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons alongside Virgin Oak casks and red wine barriques, the whisky delivers remarkable richness and complexity for its age.

The “First Edition” represents one of the earliest releases following Billy Walker’s transformation of GlenAllachie into a highly respected single malt distillery. Originally founded in 1967 primarily for blended whisky production, GlenAllachie has since gained a strong reputation for rich, sherried Speyside malts driven by meticulous wood policy and innovative maturation techniques.

Tasting Notes:
Heather honey, butterscotch and cinnamon rise on the nose alongside toasted almonds, ginger and mocha. The palate is rich and full-bodied with layers of treacle, dried sultanas, caramelised brown sugar and honeycomb balanced by warming spice, peppermint and subtle oak influence. The finish is long, smooth and gently spiced, showcasing the impressive depth and maturity achieved through GlenAllachie’s signature cask-driven style.
