The GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Rye Wood Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a bold and innovative Speyside release that showcases The GlenAllachie Distillery’s modern approach to cask experimentation under Master Distiller Billy Walker. Initially matured in American oak barrels before being finished in premium Kentucky Rye casks, this whisky combines the rich, honeyed character of GlenAllachie spirit with the spicy complexity imparted by rye wood maturation. Bottled at a robust 48% ABV, this small batch release delivers exceptional depth, balance and character for its age.

The GlenAllachie Wood Finish Range was created to highlight the influence of secondary maturation across a variety of unique cask types sourced from around the world. Under Billy Walker’s guidance, the distillery has gained significant recognition for producing richly flavoured Speyside whiskies with innovative cask finishes while maintaining traditional craftsmanship and natural presentation without added colouring or chill filtration.
Tasting Notes:
Aromas of butterscotch, heather honey and vanilla are layered with rye spice, toasted oak and caramelised brown sugar. The palate is rich and warming, delivering notes of orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg and dark toffee balanced by creamy malt and peppery spice from the rye cask influence. The finish is long and vibrant with lingering baking spices, toasted nuts and sweet oak, creating a complex and full-bodied Speyside whisky with a distinctive modern character.

We deliver your parcel within 2–3 working days. As soon as your package has left our warehouse, you will receive a confirmation by email. This confirmation contains a tracking number that you can use to find out where your package is.

We offer free returns within 30 days. All you have to do is fill out the return slip that you received in your package and stick the prepaid label on the package.Please note that it can take 2 weeks for us to process your return. We will do our best to complete this process as soon as possible.
