Inspired by the warmth, architecture and orange-filled plazas of Seville, this expression combines The Glendronach’s signature Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry maturation with the additional influence of Palo Cortado sherry casks. The result is a rich yet vibrant interpretation of the classic Glendronach style, balancing luscious sherry sweetness with bright citrus, roasted nuts and elegant spice. Presented in a generous 1-litre bottle and bottled at 43% ABV, The Sevillian Room offers a wonderfully approachable exploration of three distinctive styles of Andalusian sherry cask.

Founded in 1826, The Glendronach has built its reputation around richly textured Highland single malt and exceptional sherry-cask maturation. The House Editions collection expands upon that heritage, with each expression inspired by the character and drinking culture of a celebrated European city. The Sevillian Room remains particularly close to the distillery’s traditional identity, bringing together three styles of sherry cask from Andalusia. Rich Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez provide the familiar foundation of fruit and sweetness, while Palo Cortado contributes additional aromatic complexity, nuttiness and a refined dryness.

Tasting Notes:
The aroma opens with vibrant Seville orange and fragrant honeysuckle, followed by toasted oak, aged leather and warm Mediterranean spices. Roasted nuts emerge underneath, adding depth to the bright citrus character. The palate is rich and wonderfully rounded, with Manuka honey and roasted nuts developing alongside blood orange marmalade, cinnamon and a subtle savoury note reminiscent of olive oil tostadas. The finish is lingering and beautifully balanced, with orange zest, toasted nuts and warming spice gradually giving way to a delicate café con leche character and a refined, gently dry conclusion.
