The Archives 2007 Glenrothes 15 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a vibrant and characterful Speyside release bottled in 2022 after 15 years of maturation. Drawn from a single hogshead cask and bottled at natural cask strength, this limited release showcases a distinctive and slightly maritime interpretation of Glenrothes, balancing classic Speyside fruit with coastal complexity and spice. Only 266 bottles were produced worldwide, making it a highly collectible independent bottling for enthusiasts of unique single cask Scotch whisky.

This release forms part of the acclaimed “The Fishes of Samoa” series by Archives, an independent bottler renowned for combining rare single cask whiskies with artistic and collectible label designs. The series has developed a strong following among whisky collectors due to its limited outturns, striking visual identity and carefully selected casks from respected Scottish distilleries.
On the nose, expect aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, quince, citrus peel and honey layered with marzipan, gentle oak and subtle coastal notes. The palate is bold and full-bodied with zesty citrus, brine, herbs, soft sweetness and warming spice balanced by a rich oily texture. The finish is medium-long and warming, carrying lingering lemon peel, maritime salinity, oak spice and delicate herbal complexity.
