Tasting Notes:

Nose: Beautifully expressive and elegantly layered, opening with fresh orange zest, baked orchard fruits and delicate cinnamon spice. Ripe apples and gently caramelised pears develop alongside golden honey, dried apricots and subtle sherry sweetness. With time in the glass, notes of polished oak, dark chocolate and warming baking spices emerge, creating a wonderfully inviting balance between fresh fruit and mature cask influence.

Palate: Rich, full-bodied and beautifully structured, with an indulgent combination of dark chocolate, treacle and concentrated molasses sweetness. Layers of dried fruits, rich dates and caramelised orchard fruits gradually develop, accompanied by warming cinnamon, ginger and subtle oak spice. The natural cask strength provides considerable intensity, while the refill sherry butt allows the whisky's underlying fruit character to remain expressive. Hints of orange peel and seasoned oak introduce a pleasant bittersweet contrast, creating a sophisticated interplay between sweetness, spice and mature wood.

Finish: Long, warming and wonderfully persistent, with lingering Medjool dates, dark chocolate and gentle sherry sweetness. Notes of cinnamon, toasted oak and dried orange peel gradually emerge, leaving a beautifully balanced combination of mature fruit, warming spice and elegant oak tannins.
