Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with a beautifully medicinal Islay profile, featuring gauze, subtle TCP, fresh seashells and wet ashes layered with gentle coastal herbs, seaweed and wet wool. Earthy root notes and maritime minerality develop with time, creating an exceptionally balanced and refined aromatic profile.

On the palate, the whisky is remarkably pure and focused, delivering elegant peat smoke, salty brine, ashy peat embers and gentle citrus fruits. Notes of aniseed, cracked pepper and earthy spice unfold gradually, while hints of Lapsang Souchong tea add depth and complexity. The maturity of the whisky allows the peat to remain integrated and sophisticated rather than overpowering.

The finish is long, structured and coastal in character, reminiscent of a dry Fino sherry with lingering saline peat, medicinal smoke, earthy undertones and persistent ash notes that showcase the remarkable precision and elegance of this mature Islay single malt.
