This release forms the second label in the series for The Antelope and carries a particularly fascinating backstory. The Cognac originates from a now-defunct Cognac estate that historically supplied mature casks to the major Cognac houses for blending purposes rather than releasing spirit under its own name. With the recent rise in popularity of single cask and independent Cognac bottlings, select casks from these historic stocks have begun emerging onto the market. However, due to the way the casks were traded and transferred over decades, the original producing Cognac House can no longer be definitively identified adding both mystery and rarity to this exceptional bottling.
