Tasting Notes:
An expressive nose opens with overripe guava, plum, apricot and dates layered with dark honey, salted caramel and a fresh lift of grapefruit. The palate is silky, full and beautifully oily, revealing stewed apple, ripe pear and apricot alongside marzipan, walnut, warming spice and delicate mature oak, balanced by the bittersweet character of candied citrus. The finish is exceptionally long and layered, with old oak providing an elegant dryness against sweeter notes of toffee and dates, followed by roasted almonds, a subtle touch of smoke and a final burst of fresh citrus.
