An opulent nose opens with waves of fruity PX sherry, cherry compote and thick plum jam layered over forest honey and dark dried fruits. Notes of black cherries, raisins and forest berries emerge alongside cinnamon sticks, Christmas cake spice and polished old leather. Sweet pipe tobacco, antique oak and delicate earthy nuances add remarkable depth and maturity.
