Tasting Notes:

The nose opens with dense layers of earthy peat smoke intertwined with rich plum cake, sweet marzipan and fragrant orange blossom. Beneath the smoke lies a damp forest floor character, evoking moss-covered woodland after rainfall, alongside roasted grain coffee and subtle hints of dark fruit. As the whisky develops in the glass, notes of smouldering embers, worn leather and wet earth emerge, creating a deeply atmospheric and evocative aroma.

The palate delivers an immediate surge of dirty smoke and earthy peat, followed by dark wood, sticky dates and freshly roasted coffee beans. Waves of dried fruits and charred oak unfold across the tongue, while a savoury note reminiscent of lightly fried bacon adds further depth and complexity.
