This release forms part of Michiel Wigman’s acclaimed independent bottling portfolio, known for selecting distinctive single casks with strong individuality and character. The “Gems of Scotland” series highlights exceptional whiskies from celebrated Scottish distilleries while pairing them with striking collectible label artwork inspired by whisky culture and heritage.
Tasting Notes:
Soft peat smoke and coastal salinity intertwine with layers of honeyed malt, preserved citrus and orchard fruit. Gentle earthy notes, smoked barley and heather sweetness develop into rich flavours of green apple peel, white pepper and briny olives. The palate is silky yet powerful, carrying elegant maritime complexity and subtle oak spice throughout. The finish is long and refined, lingering with mineral smoke, citrus zest and delicate island peat.
