Tasting Notes:
The nose opens with classic old-fashioned sherry influence, revealing layers of blackcurrants, polished oak, mint and warming cinnamon alongside rich toffee sweetness and subtle herbal complexity. On the palate, an immediate explosion of concentrated flavour delivers waves of dark fruits, roasted nuts and decadent sweetness, creating a rich and full-bodied mouthfeel. Notes of dried berries, spiced chocolate and nutty malt develop beautifully, although the whisky remains vibrant and energetic throughout. The finish becomes drier and more structured, introducing raw coffee, exotic confectionery and lingering oak spice that leave a lasting impression of depth and maturity.
