Tasting Notes:
The aroma is deep and beautifully mature, with complex Oloroso sherry surrounding dried plums, raisins and dark fruits. Soft caramel provides richness while orange peel introduces a brighter citrus edge, balancing the heavier sherry character and mature oak. The palate is powerful and concentrated, delivering walnuts, melting caramel and intense sherry sweetness alongside fine oak and juicy orange. There is an impressive interplay between nutty richness, dark fruit and the more delicate fruitiness of the underlying Linkwood spirit. The finish is exceptionally long and persistent, with rich Oloroso, walnuts and dark fruits gradually giving way to seasoned oak, gentle spice and lingering dried-fruit sweetness.
