Tasting Notes:
Rich red fruits lead the way with ripe cherries, dark grapes and berry compote layered over Glen Elgin’s characteristic orchard fruit and sweet malt. Raisins, vanilla and honey emerge alongside touches of polished oak, baking spice and a subtle vinous character. The palate is full and rounded, with dark berries, stewed plums and grape sweetness balanced by creamy malt, gentle tannins and warming spice. The Amarone influence builds towards a long, warming finish of dried fruit, dark cherry, pepper, oak spice and lingering wine sweetness, while the underlying freshness of the Glen Elgin spirit keeps everything beautifully balanced.
