Signatory Vintage 2010 Knockando 15 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a richly sherried Speyside release distilled on 22 October 2010 and matured for 15 years before bottling in January 2026. Released as part of Signatory Vintage’s highly regarded Cask Strength Collection, this single cask expression was finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, bringing considerable richness and intensity to Knockando’s traditionally elegant Speyside character. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.6%, without added colouring or chill filtration, just 333 bottles were produced from Cask #2.

Signatory Vintage is one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers, renowned for sourcing distinctive individual casks and presenting them with an emphasis on transparency and minimal intervention. Its Cask Strength Collection represents some of the bottler’s most characterful selections, typically showcasing individual casks at their natural strength. This Knockando is an especially powerful interpretation of the distillery, with the first-fill Oloroso finish layering deep sherry, chocolate and spice over the underlying Speyside malt.

Tasting Notes:
An intense wave of Oloroso sherry immediately leads the aroma, combining dark chocolate, dried fruits and roasted nuts with a complex network of warming spices. The palate develops beautifully with golden honey and rich chocolate at its core, joined by concentrated sherry sweetness, mature oak and precise woody spice that gives the whisky impressive depth and structure. Cinnamon builds towards the finish alongside darker cocoa, nuts and lingering Oloroso richness, creating a long, warming and deeply sherried conclusion. Despite its 54.6% cask strength, the alcohol is remarkably well integrated, allowing the chocolate, fruit and spice to remain firmly at the forefront.
