Bottled at 46% ABV without excessive intervention, it offers a contemporary interpretation of Japanese blending while remaining true to traditional craftsmanship.

Located in Fukuoka Prefecture on Japan's Kyushu Island, Shindo Distillery has rapidly established itself as one of Japan's most exciting emerging whisky producers. Working alongside the neighbouring Asakura Distillery, Shindo produces both malt and grain whisky in-house, allowing complete control over every aspect of the blending process. For The Blended 2026, locally cultivated "Haruka Nijo" barley was selected to showcase the character of the region, while the blend was developed to offer exceptional balance whether enjoyed neat, with water or as a highball. The result is a whisky that combines innovation with Japanese precision and a strong sense of place.

Tasting Notes:
Fresh aromas of vanilla, summer mandarin zest and delicate blossom lead the nose, accompanied by gentle cereal sweetness and soft malt. The palate is smooth and approachable, revealing creamy toffee, honeyed barley, light citrus and subtle floral notes, all supported by a silky texture.
