Tasting Notes:

The aroma is wonderfully mature and complex, opening with rich Oloroso sherry, dried figs and raisins alongside polished leather, roasted nuts and seasoned oak. Subtle maritime notes and gentle peat smoke emerge underneath, accompanied by dark chocolate, orange peel and delicate warming spice. The palate is beautifully textured and full-bodied, revealing ripe plums, dark chocolate and rich malt alongside roasted walnuts, caramel and gentle oak spice. Springbank’s distinctive oily character provides remarkable depth, while subtle coastal salinity and delicate earthy smoke balance the mature sherry sweetness. The finish is exceptionally long and sophisticated, with lingering dark fruits, roasted nuts and bittersweet chocolate gradually giving way to refined oak, gentle spice and a beautifully integrated maritime smokiness.
