Tasting Notes:

Nose: Wonderfully rich and silky, with an immediate impression of walking into a traditional sweet shop filled with indulgent aromas. Coconut cream, tinned pineapple and ripe banana lead the way, accompanied by generous layers of golden honey and creamy vanilla. Freshly cut oak shavings introduce a distinctive woody character, alongside a subtle suggestion of polished timber and varnish. As the whisky opens, bright lemon zest and crisp green apple emerge, providing a refreshing counterpoint to the concentrated sweetness. An expressive and beautifully developed bouquet, balancing tropical richness with fresh citrus and mature American oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and richly textured, with a classic combination of tropical fruit, citrus and assertive oak influence. Fresh lemon develops into slightly bitter grapefruit peel and salty preserved lemon, introducing an intriguing savoury dimension. Nutmeg, ginger, green pepper and white pepper contribute warming spice, while a lovely burst of ripe mango emerges through the middle of the palate. The American oak becomes increasingly prominent, revealing fresh wood shavings, vanilla sponge cake and subtle green banana. A powerful, oak-forward expression in which the bright citrus and tropical fruit help balance the intensity of its extended maturation.

Finish: Long, warming and beautifully expressive, with lingering zesty lemon, sweet seasoned wood and toasted marshmallow. Fresh oak spice gradually builds alongside hints of vanilla and gentle pepper, leaving a persistent combination of citrus freshness, mature timber and delicate sweetness.
