This 2007 Secret Islay forms part of the Godzilla series and pairs mature Islay peat with the concentrated fruit and richness of a sherry hogshead, presenting the spirit without colouring or chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:
Dense maritime peat smoke opens alongside smoked meats, charred wood and coastal salinity, gradually revealing dark chocolate, dried fruits and rich sherry sweetness. Layers of cooked orchard fruit, honey and citrus develop beneath the smoke, complemented by leathery notes, earthy malt and a distinctive savoury character. The palate is powerful and oily, balancing sweet dried fruit and dark chocolate against kipper smoke, mineral peat and warming spice. The finish is long and assertive, leaving lingering coal smoke, citrus oils, dark fruits and dry sherried oak.
