The Anchor 2012 Royal Brackla 13 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a refined Highland release distilled in 2012 and matured for 13 years before bottling at natural cask strength. Selected by Anchor Australia as part of “The Grey Abstract Series,” this limited single cask expression highlights the elegant and richly textured character of Royal Brackla a distillery historically known as “The King’s Own Whisky” after becoming the first Scotch distillery to receive a Royal Warrant in 1833.

Tasting Notes:
Bright orchard fruits, vanilla cream and honeyed malt open on the nose alongside gentle oak spice and citrus zest. The palate is rich and full-bodied with layers of caramel, toasted cereals, creamy toffee and baked apple balanced by subtle floral notes and warming spice. Hints of coconut, dark sugar and soft oak develop through the finish, delivering a long, elegant and well-structured Highland whisky with impressive depth and maturity.
